Welcome to gfWC GEORGIA

Service Guild of Covington

We are a General Federation of Women's Club and a Georgia Federation of Women's Club organization serving the community of Covington, Georgia and the surrounding Newton county areas.  We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Our six programs of work include Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, and Public Issues.

We also actively support the Tallulah Falls School, a small private, coeducational boarding and day school for grades 6-12. TFS also offers a college preparatory curriculum.  The school is supported by the GFWC Georgia Federated Women’s Clubs throughout our state.

GFWC Service Guild of Covington meets at 12 Noon on the 4th Monday of each month, January through December. except for June and July, which are vacation months.  The club meets at the Little Red School House on Newton Drive in Covington, Georgia,  (next to the Newton YMCA).

Each meeting month one of our six programs of work hosts an informal luncheon and an informative program, often with guest speakers from throughout our community.  The month of May is an Awards Luncheon recognizing our fellow members.  The December meeting is a members’ celebration luncheon, when we often gather gifts for needy children, and celebrate the Holidays.
